The United States says Russia's military advances have largely stalled in Ukraine.
A senior US defence official says little progress was made over the weekend and Russia hasn't taken any major cities or gained air superiority.
However loud blasts have been heard in the capital Kyiv this morning, though.

A British journalist working in Ukraine has been injured on the outskirts of Kyiv.
Fox News says its correspondent Ben Hall has been taken to hospital - but the network hasn't given details on his condition.
It says its teams on the ground are "working to gather additional information".

The first Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in two years is expected to attract thousands of people to the city centre on Thursday.
RedFM is proud media partner to the event and RedFM Breakfast's Rob Heffernan will be MC’ing on the day.
Around 2,500 people will be taking part in the parade, which is starting on the South Mall and will make its way along Grand Parade, Patrick Street and Merchants Quay.
People are being asked to plan their journeys and to use public transport where possible as several roads will be closed on the day.

95% of school bus operators say they can't guarantee a service up to the end of the school year in June.
A survey by the Coach Tourism and Transport Council of Ireland , published in the Irish Examiner, found almost all of its members say that spiralling fuel prices mean its not commercially viable to continue running services without any Government support.
The CTTC is now calling for an immediate VAT cut on fuel to 9%.
