Tough decisions will have to be made around the 203 bus route as drivers say they have had enough.

For some time drivers have been reporting repeated incidents of threats of violence, racial abuse and fires being set on buses.

The service was pulled last Friday evening after a stone was thrown at the bus, shattering a window near Farranree.

Dermot O'Leary of the National Bus and Rail Union told RedFM News while the community rely on the service, their members safety is paramount:

"The busses were pulled last week, at some stage, people are gonna have to consider that we have to make a decision here. you know, does the service operate, you know, for the good of the community, which is what it's designed to do?"
