Plans are afoot to transform the landscape of the town once the Main Drainage Scheme is complete
Traders in Bandon say they hope the public support they have seen in the past two months will allay fears of business closures and job losses in the town.
Business in the town has been affected in recent years by road closures, diversions, lack of parking and issues surrounding traffic management plans and concerns have been expressed about that the impact of the COVID19 outbreak could be the last straw for many businesses.
However plans are afoot to transform the landscape of the town once the Main Drainage Scheme is completed, while the pedestrianisation of Bridge St is in the pipeline in the coming weeks to attract footfall.
