It's on foot of the success of outdoor dining on the street over the summer months
The current Level 3 COVID restrictions mean that bars, restaurants and cafes are just open for takeaway and delivery and for outdoor dining of up to 15 people which has led to a lot of hardship in the hospitality sector.
However despite these difficulties traders on Princes Street have come together and agreed to try and keep their doors open during Level 3 despite the fact that this means many of them are operating at a loss.
