The trial of two young men accused of murdering a man in Carrigaline is continuing today.
29 year old Matt O'Neil of Glenwood in Carrigaline died after he was allegedly punched in the face and kicked in the head on the ground three days after Christmas in 2022.
21 year old Ricardo Hoey of 7 Ard Carrig, Carrigaline, Cork and 19 year old Jordan Deasy of 41 Ravensdale, Heronswood, Carrigaline, Cork both deny murdering Matt O’Neill.
Ms Justice Siobhan Lankford told jurors that the case could last up to three weeks and to 100 witnesses could be called and the case will resume today.
