Two schools in Carrigtwohill are set for a multi million euro School campus.
St Aloysius College and Scoil Chlochair Mhuire are to move on to the design and Construction stage of the €35 million euro project
The Echo report that the 10,000 square metre school for St Aloysius College, an all girls secondary school, will cost €26 million, and will include 37 classrooms and five specialist classrooms, along with science labs, art rooms, and a library.
A €9 million investment in Scoil Chlothair Mhuire will result in a 3,000 square metre school, which will include 16 classrooms and a multi purpose room.
Construction is set to begin in late 2024 and will take two years to fully complete.
