A man and a woman are being treated in hospital after the car they were travelling in overturned on Cathedral Road on the northside of the city this morning.
Three units of Cork City fire service along with Gardai and emergency personnel responded to the incident which occurred just after 10am, at the bottom of Cathedral Road.
Gardai have confirmed to RedFM News that two people, a man and a woman, have been conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment for injuries they sustained during the collision.
The road has been closed off as far as Gurranabraher Road and diversions are in operation to allow for a forensic collision investigation of the scene.
