Two men have been remanded on bail after they were charged in connection with a 140-thousand euro drugs seizure in Glanmire on Thursday.
Gardaí stopped a taxi on the M8 in Glanmire as part of Operation Tara, where they recovered approximately two kilos of cocaine.

"Detectives from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit and the Gurranabraher District Drugs Unit stopped the taxi and found two separate packages containing cocaine.
They arrested the two passengers in the vehicle for questioning.
The 58 and 36 year old men were brought before a special sitting of Cork District Court where they were both charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine for sale or supply.
Mr Gwei of Alverno Drive, in Athlone, Co Westmeath was also charged with possession of cannabis herb and possession of cannabis herb for sale or supply in two other locations.
Gardaí had no objection to bail for the accused men.
Judge Marian O'Leary remanded them both on their own bonds.
The case is due before the court again on the 12th January.
