The alarm was raised just before 8am and a unit from Carrigaline and Crosshaven responded to the scene of a fire at a grain silo at an animal feed plant
The premises was evacuated and firefighters remain at the scene and are using a hydraulic platform as they bring the fire under control
No injuries have been reported
