An email has been issued to UCC staff this morning informing them that the college will open today.
The Irish Examiner are reporting that the email states that having reviewed the current weather situation in relation to Storm Barra and having consulted with the Department of Higher Education, the Emergency Management Team has decided that the University Campus and facilities will reopen today .
Normal operations are resuming with immediate effect.
