Over 300 UCC staff signed a letter urging UCC to reverse the decision to raise rents at five students apartment complexes by 3%
The Union say rent will have increased by 19% in four years if the rent hike goes ahead..
UCC say they are working to ensure the welfare of protesting students is protected and have requested a meeting of their Campus Accommodation Board next week to discuss the concerns of students.
