UCC are planning a 3% rent increase
UCC owns and operates five centres and 1,300 student beds and announced the plan in February due to an increase in the cost of security, maintenance and refurbishment.
The Student Union rejected the reasons for the increase and staged a sit-in protest on the quad for several weeks.
