Uisce Éireann says its committed to improving water quality in the city.
It comes after homeowners protested outside the water providers offices after 18 months of living with discoloured tap water which they say broke washing machines, showers and ruined clothes.
Uisce Éireann says its established taskforce is progressing with works to fix the issue.
