A meeting will get underway later this evening about discoloured water in the city - but without Uisce Éireann.
The water provider says it received an invitation to a meeting at the Maldron Hotel in Shandon tonight, but a representative will not be attending.
Uisce Éireann says the problem of dirty brown water coming from taps lies with old cast iron pipes which could cost around 500 million euro to fix.
Speaking to RedFM News, Sonya Cashman from Spring Lane in Blackpool says there’s only been a problem since Uisce Éireann took over water services from the City Council
"We never had a problem when the Council had it, so how did the Council run it so perfectly and Irish Water can't? That's my question. If the pipes are as old as they say they are, which we all know they are, how did the Council handle that and give us clean water in our taps and Irish Water can't?"
