An Post say up to 800 staff are currently out sick which impacted some services in Cork yesterday including the temporary closure of Blarney post office
However in the past hour An Post confirmed that thanks to huge efforts by the Postmaster and team, Blarney Post Office has reopened today and no other Cork Post Offices are closed today.
An Post say postal deliveries are being impacted in some areas and they are doing everything they can to rotate staff and ensure regular deliveries to all routes
