Bus Éireann have launched an investigation after a school bus carrying secondary school students left the road in West Cork yesterday evening.
The students were on their way home from school at around 4pm when the bus went off the R593 road on the outskirts of Skibbereen and became lodged in a ditch.
Photos of the incident show the bus leaning to one side.
In a statement issued to RedFM News this morning Bus Eireann confirmed that 30 post primary pupils were onboard the bus at the time of the incident however no injuries were reported
Alternative transport was arranged for the pupils and the gardai were called to the scene.
