IALPA's agreed to attend talks with Aer Lingus tomorrow in the dispute over pay.

It follows a request from the company.

The pilot's union says industrial action will continue.

A work to rule is underway , which has resulted in the cancellation of 270 flights.

Hoteliers are already experiencing a low level of cancellations and Fergal Harte of the Kingsley Hotel told RedFM News the action will hit thousands of downstream hospitality businesses such as restaurants and cafes if it continues

"That's really the major fear from hotels and also for the whole tourism ecosystem I suppose it's the downstream effects, you know, for the local restaurants and cafes and that whole impact that that it has if the tourists are not going to stay in hotels, it just affects the wider economy as well"
