Gardaí say all roads are in exceptionally bad condition in the city and county with large amounts of debris still remaining on all routes.

They're urging motorists to take extreme care on the roads this morning.

Hundreds of trees have fallen and ESB Networks are warning people to stay away from downed power lines.

Skibbereen flooded last night, however Gardaí say the water has since subsided.

High Tide in the City today is at 7:12 and City Hall says there is a risk of localised flooding along low lying areas of the quays.

Meanwhile, a number of roads are impassible this morning in the City and County according to the latest information from Gardaí at Anglesea street.

They include the Ballygarvan to Carrigaline Road

The Rochestown Road, partly blocked at Rochestown Park Hotel

The Kinsale Road, between the Five Mile Inn and Cork Airport

The Lee Road

The Carrigrohane Straight to Leemount Cross

The R618 at Inniscarra Bar, Ballincollig

The Waterfall Road, Bishopstown side of Waterfall Village

The Old Blarney Road by Gateway Business Park

The Fountainstown to Crosshaven Road

Mathew Hill is impassible at Lehenaghmore

The Kilumney to Aherla Road is blocked

The Passage West to Monkstown Road is partially blocked and is passable with care.

Mill Road between Midleton town and Lisgoold is impassable

A power line is down at Barryscourt, Carrigtwohill

The Mount Uniac to Youghal road is blocked,

The Castlemartyr to Garryvoe road is impassible one mile from Castlemartyr side, as is the Doungourney to Midleton Road and the Charleville to Kilmallock Road due to fallen trees and wires down.

Gardaí in Fermoy say the area has been hugely impacted by the storm with most secondary roads and backroads blocked or partially blocked by trees.
