A wastewater treatment plant and sewer network in Mallow has been completed.
Uisce Éireann worked in partnership with Cork County Council on the project, at a cost of 34 million euro.
Meanwhile, works are to start next week to replace over 1.6km of water mains at Quarry Hall Cross in Grenagh.
The project is expected to take 8 weeks and a stop-and-go traffic management system will be in place.
