Water has been restored to up to 2,000 customers in the Douglas area after a major pipe burst
The large burst affected properties on the Douglas Road, South Douglas Road and surrounding areas.
Water crews were on site last evening and worked until the early hours of this morning to restore normal supply to all customers affected by the unplanned outage.
Uisce Eireann says the unplanned outage may cause discolouration for a period of time but if it persists customers should contact the helpline on 1800 278 278.
