The West Cork Island of Sherkin recorded the strongest winds in the country of all of 2021 last month.
Met Éireann say that during Storm Barra, on the 7 December, winds on the island reached 135km/hr or 73 knots an hour.
Those were the strongest gusts experienced on Sherkin Island in 17 years.
