It’s part of The Annual Leap Scarecrow Festival, which includes a Halloween parade, a witches street dance, and a bonfire night to celebrate Halloween.
The pandemic forced the cancellation of a number of indoor events at the festival, however a scavenger hunt will take place tomorrow evening and a bonfire and witches dance will mark the end of the annual festival tomorrow.
One of the festival’s organisers Ruthann Sheehan says there’s scarecrows have been placed in every nook and cranny in the village:
"It's linear village there's about 240 Plus with their people were outnumbered at least two to one by scarecrows, and it's so funny when you're walking on it especially at night you honestly when you're coming around from corners, you don't know if you're meeting the living or they're not sold anything."
