Whitechurch boy, Adam Terry is recovering in hospital following successful scoliosis surgery.
The ten-year-old, underwent the major procedure at Crumlin children’s hospital yesterday morning.
Adam's plight came to widespread public attention when he spoke on radio about his painful four-year wait for surgery.
He was first diagnosed with spinal issues when he was just 18 months of age.
There are more than 170 waiting for scoliosis surgery in Ireland at present.
