A woman is being questioned by Gardaí after €60,000 of cannabis was discovered in a car in Cork.
As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí, attached to the Cork Divisional Drugs Unit and Mayfield Drugs Unit, stopped and searched a car at John Horgan Quay.
During the search, at around 4 o'clock yesterday evening, Gardaí found 3 kilos of suspected cannabis.
It has an estimated street-value of €60,000.
The driver of the car, a woman aged in her late 30s, was arrested and taken to Mayfield Garda Station.
Investigations continue.
