Construction on a new bridge which will connect Tramore Valley Park to Grange and Frankfield will get underway this week.
The Echo report that site clearance works will begin this week, with the project, which is funded by the National Transport Authority, set for completion early next year.
It's hoped the 4 metre wide pathway, which will be 1 kilometre long, will help to reduce traffic congestion.
The 160 acre Tramore Valley Park, located at the site of the old city landfill, opened in 2019.
