Over 500 metres of old watermains will be replaced in Kinsale from next week
The works are part of Uisce Éireann plan to bring a more reliable water supply to the town and reduce the instances of bursts and eliminate existing leaks in the supply
Traffic management will be in place during the works which are due to be completed by January
Uisce Eireann says residents may experience some short term water supply interruptions but the project team will ensure that customers are given a minimum of 48 hours’ notice
