A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Cork.
The weather warning comes into effect from tomorrow night at midnight and is in place for 24 hours.
Met Éireann say falls of 30 to 50mm are expected, with surface flooding.
They also say that the rainfall will further elevate river levels and may also result in river flooding.
The yellow warning is also in place for Kerry, Waterford, Connacht and Donegal.
