The RNLI is urging people to leave inflatable toys at home after a man and a woman were rescued off the coast of East Cork on Friday.
A full scale emergency operation was launched when the two adults were being blown out to sea on an inflatable toy boat at Youghal's Strand Beach.
Lifeboat crews rescued the pair and brought them to shore.
Youghal RNLI says that inflatable boats, beds and toys are unsafe to use on open water due to changeable winds throughout the summer.
