Emily Roman would have been 8 years old tomorrow.
She was swimming with friends when a current swept her away just after half past 4 in the afternoon.
Emily along with her twin brother have been students in Templebreedy National School in Crosshaven since junior infants in 2020.
Her school described her as kind, with a bubbly personality and a beautiful smile.
They have expressed their deepest sympathies to Emily’s parents, Marta and Slawomir, her older sister Inga and her twin brother Jeremy.
