The Cork sprinter who competed in this years Tokyo Olympic wants to find Ireland's Fittest School.

Phil Healy and Olympic athlete Dubliner David Gillick have recorded a series of workouts that schools can stream online and compete with schools across the country.

Registration for the Competition, can now be made online at www.fyffesfitsquad.ie with the overall winner to be announced in May.

Healy told RedFM news that she hopes schools will adopt the programme as part of their PE curriculum and that fitness is incredibly important for student's mental health and wellbeing.

"It's so important for kids to get an actus Get out, you don't have to be the quickest if you want to be the best in sport, this has a range of different exercises that any child can take part in. So it really does encourage the kids to have that those few moments in the day to get after it's all about that participation, feeling good, there's the wellness side of things in there as well so it is so important especially when everyone is back together, you can have fun doing it within your class, comparing it then week on week classes in the school, and across the country then as well."
