Thousands receiving the Pandemic Unemployment Payment will receive a double payment tomorrow as a Christmas bonus.
It comes as some restaurants and retailers say they are struggling to find staff for the Christmas period.
It's claimed some workers have been reluctant to come off the Pandemic Unemployment Payment as they may only be guaranteed a few weeks work or didn't want to become ineligible for the Christmas bonus.
