The 2 metre social distance rule remains in place for the moment.
However, the government has ordered a report on the measure, as many businesses say they may not be able to reopen while it remains in place.
Schools also say the rule will impact plans to reopen in August.
Social Protection Minister Regina Doherty says it will be looked at.
