227,000 People Arrived In Ireland From Overseas In July

It's an increase of almost 300% on the previous month

New CSO figures show 97,000 of them came from Britain, 23,000 from Spain and 13,000 from France.

275,000 people also left the country last month - with Britain, Spain and Poland the most popular destinations.

It's despite none of those countries being on the government's green list for safe travel.
