39,000 12 to 15 year olds have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
A total of 89,000 children have registered since the HSE's portal opened to the cohort on Thursday.
81 % of people who are eligible for a vaccine are now fully vaccinated.
HSE National Lead on Vaccination Programme Damien McCallion vaccine appointments are now readily available to anyone who wants one.
"The numbers over the weekend have been really good and the numbers registered.
"We're getting to people very quickly as well, as we're getting to the stage of the programme now where we have ample supply, and we have a lot of the other age groups down.
"As people register they are getting appointments pretty quickly, some people would have gotten them in less than 24 hours for example, so that's another advantage for people at this point in time."
