Four in ten people who're working from home due to Covid-19 are working longer hours than normal.

A survey by IrishJobs.ie has found half are having trouble 'switching off' while a quarter claim they're getting more work from their bosses than usual.

Nine in ten Irish workers are now working from home, according to the study.

But Orla Moran from IrishJobs.ie says people are adjusting to the change.

"People are taking regular breaks, they're getting outside, interestingly the most popular place to work is the kitchen table - 42% of respondents are working from a kitchen table.

"51% of those surveyed said the biggest distraction was actually interruptions from family, but only 22% are distracted by children and home schooling."
