18 are in Dublin and 17 are in Kildare, while the others are spread across 11 different counties.
Health officials say there are no further deaths related to the virus.
The total number of cases is 26,995, and the death toll remains at 1,774.
Dr Madeleine Ní Dhálaigh, from the Irish Medical Organisation, says the number of new cases is concerning.
