'90% Of Markets Operated By Hotels Across Ireland Have Been Shut Down.'

That's according to Neil Grant, Manager of the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery

He says that restrictions surrounding weddings, communions, indoor dining, and inbound tourism are decimating the country's hotel sector.

Last Thursday night, a number of hotels, airports, and tourism spots across the country turned green to highlight the plight of tourism industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event was organised by industry leaders to send a clear message to Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe as he prepares Budget 2021, which will be published tomorrow.

Speaking to RedFM News, Cork Hotelier Neil Grant says selling hotel rooms alone will not save the industry:
