A Cork Couple Are Trying To Remain Hopeful That They Will Get Out Of Peru And Home Soon

The country is on lockdown under martial law due to the coronavirus

Andrew Cotter from Mitchelstown along with his girlfriend Marie, who is from Conna, are among a group of people who are trying to get out of Peru.

Andrew has been in touch with the Department of Foreign Affairs and they've been told that there may be a flight out of the country to London this weekend but it would cost over 3,000 dollars.

Speaking to RedFM News from Peru Andrew says they're anxious to get home:
