A Cork Hotelier Says If Level 3 Restrictions Are Extended It Will Severly Affect Those In The Hospitality Sector

The restrictions came into effect from midnight

The restrictions were announced on Monday evening by the Taoiseach and are due to remain in place until October 27th.

It means hotels will only be able to open their dining space to residents, and can only accept up to 15 members of the public in an outdoor setting.

The Irish Hotels Federation says 100,000 jobs are already gone and another 100,000 are now at risk without immediate Government supports.

Speaking to RedFM News Director of Sales and Marketing at the Montenotte Hotel Ray Kelleher says there will be jobs losses if the restrictions continue:
