A man who was convicted of murdering his girlfriend at their home in Cork seven years ago has lost his appeal.
Darren Murphy of Passage West, Co. Cork was found guilty in June 2018 following what was his third trial for the murder of Olivia Dunlea.
His appeal focused on bad character evidence heard during the trial, and his claim the judge didn't direct the jury properly in relation to provocation.
