Aer Lingus has been forced to cancel several flights, due to an isolation related staff shortage.
The airline cancelled five European round trips in the past two days, one of those was due to fly today.
Editor of Air and Travel Magazine, Eoghan Corry, says the whole industry worldwide has been hit with this problem
But he says its only had a relatively small impact here:
"It's not actually outbreaks, but it's that crew are unavailable because they're self isolating. The aviation industry is looking at this, and one of the things in America has been to reduce the period of isolation from 10 to 5 days, because it is many Asia and mainly America that are affected. It's had minimal impact in Ireland."
