Almost 6 in 10 people working from home are happier as a result.
That’s according to research by the National Recruitment Federation, which says 70 per cent of those surveyed would like to continue working remotely.
Recruitment expert Peter Cosgrove isn’t sure about the findings and says there’s more to work than the office.
"We would have to see this for a lot longer - I personally would be quite sceptical.
"I just think people are going to start to realise that work is much more than just a place you go.
"It's getting out of the house, it's all the things you see on the commute to work, it's all the restaurants and food.
"Variety is what we need, and when we're on lockdown we feel a little bit trapped I think."
