Almost one fifth of Covid 19 outbreaks across the country last week were in the Cork and Kerry region.
The Echo reports that 10 outbreaks were reported in the HSE South Region.
Three of those were in residential institutions, three in ‘other healthcare services', two in hospitals, one in a nursing home and another in a community hospital.
53 outbreaks were notified nationally in the week to June 11th, an increase of 18 from the previous week.
