It's hoped the Restart Grant Plus, launched today, will help businesses in Cork reopen and will help people get back to work.
Tánaiste Leo Varadkar opened applications to the Restart Grant Plus Scheme, which gives grants to businesses to help them reopen and get their staff back to work.
The initiative is a key part of the government's July Stimulus package, and will see €300 million additional funding in addition to the €250m previously committed.
