The Defence Forces is set to run a large Covid-19 testing facility in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Brigadier-general Brian Cleary told the Irish Daily Star up to 40 of his staff would test thousands of people in the stadium.
If the plan goes ahead, the testing centre will be run solely by the Defence Forces and will open in the next couple of weeks.
