UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson says there will "probably be another wave" of Covid-19 there, while denying claims he would rather see bodies pile in their thousands than implement another lockdown.
The allegations were made by the UK Daily Mail and say Boris Johnson would rather let the disease "rip" than bring back more measures to stop its spread.
In response to the claims, Boris Johnson says another wave in Britain is likely.
"The numbers of deaths, the numbers of hospitalisations are very low.
"That doesn't mean that we have it totally licked.
"It doesn't mean that Covid is over, we've got to be realistic about that.
"Unfortunately there probably will be another wave of the disease."
