325 new cases of COVID19 have been confirmed in the country today.
A further 17 patients have died.
· 8 deaths located in the east, 3 in the south, 3 in the north-west and 3 in the west of the country
· Patients included 4 females and 13 males
· Median age of today’s reported deaths is 84
· 8 patients were reported as having underlying health conditions
The total number of deaths in the Republic now stands at 71, (That numbers stands at 99 on the island of Ireland) while the total number of confirmed cases now stands at 3,235.
Today's data reveals:
- 50% are male and female, with 118 clusters involving 494 cases
- The median age of confirmed cases is 47 years
- 703 people have been hospitalised
- 113 people have been admitted to ICU
- 647 cases are associated with healthcare workers
