Bus Éireann say they have been bowled over by the generousity of the people of Cork.
The company launched a food appeal in association with Cork Penny Dinners on Monday and delivered the first full bus of food to the charity yesterday.
Penny Dinners say demand for food hampers has risen sharply since businesses were forced to lay off thousands of employees due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
