Cabinet ministers are currently meeting to discuss the move to Level 5
Speculation is mounting that restrictions in the Level 5 category will be implemented this evening when the Government is set to make an announcement.
It follows a sharp spike in COVID19 cases with figures here across Cork on the rise.
However many outlets in the city including gyms and hairdressers say they have put every safety measure possible in place yet they're still facing closure.
