The Finance Minister has been called on to hold accountable some insurance companies who are, "trying to weasel their way out of crisis payouts".
It emerged last week that Allianz and FBD are refusing to honour 'business interruption cover'for pubs that were asked to shut their doors to combat the spread of COVID19.
It's understood some insurers are classifying this as a voluntary closure as opposed to a forced closure.
The Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe has since called on insurers not to reject businesses’ claims in these circumstances however speaking to RedFM News Cork TD Christopher O'Sullivan says this doesn't go far enough:
